KIKO Nail Varnish: Every Shade Imaginable!

I'd never heard of KIKO MAKE UP MILANO until a branch opened at Westfield, Stratford City. It's an Italian (Milan-based to be exact) professional cosmetics brand. Founded in 1997,  it's new compared to other established brands. Today I decided to take my first visit into the store, mainly to get some nail varnish but to have a look to see what they had on offer. I was pleasantly surprised by the rush of colours that were presented before me as I entered. Literally every colour under the sun was available. Focusing on the nail polishes, there were different finishes, tones, shades etc etc. You've got your pearls, metallics, neons, glitters, pastels, shimmers.... Let's just say, KIKO give Models Own a run for its money in terms of variation and choice.

I was mainly drawn to the greens today. It's probably the earthy mood I was in. So, after being so spoilt for choice that I almost went crazy making my decision, I finally bought these three

Most of the products are written in Italian so I spent ages trying to find the names of the varnish colours. From left to right the shades are 342- Sea Green , 348- Camouflage Green, and 320- Beige Mauve. I tested them out when I got home:

Sea green (the last one) is my favourite...They dry relatively quickly and you can get away with putting on just one coat, but I prefer two just to ensure a nice, totally opaque application. At £4.90 a bottle, for the choice and quality, it's very reasonably priced. I'll definitely be going back in-store to buy a few more shades.

Have you been to KIKO? What did you get? If not, what are you waiting for? :P
