My Ensemble: Wild With Shear & Utter Bliss

It's getting dark at 3pm these days so I had to take the photos for this ensemble piece indoors. Lighting wasn't great, neither is the quality but here it is anyway.

Who: Dinner with friends and family
Where: Zizzi
When: Wednesday 2nd November 2011
What: Faux Sheepskin Gilet (Camden Market); Brown Polo Neck (Bershka); Leopard Print Headband (Forever 21); Belt (Camden Market); Leopard Print Pashmina (New Look); Ring (New Look); Watch (Next) Bag (Next); Brown Knee High Boots (Linzi Shoes); Nails (Kiko Make Up Milano, shade: Sea Green)
Why: Wild animal prints such as leopard spots, tiger prints and zebra stripes have been in for a while now (quite noticeably since the beginning of summer) and if the fall/winter collections by Cavalli and D&G are anything to go by, this trend will be sticking around for a few months yet. You've got to go easy with how much of it you wear at one time though, otherwise, with overkill, you'll end up looking like you actually belong in the jungle. I'm wearing a tiger print ring and watch, a leopard print headband and I tied a leopard print scarf around the handle of my bag. Sounds like a lot but they're in miniature doses so aren't overpowering.

The gilet is a must have for autumn style, I reckon. I'm wearing a faux sheepskin one that I spotted while out in Camden last year but didn't get round to wearing it, for some reason or another. Fake fur ones are also popular, more so in fact. Here are a few that caught my eye while browsing online:

Do you have a gilet? If so, what type? Faux fur/sheepskin? Long or short? What animal prints have you been wearing?
