Photo Diary #3

Until compiling the images for this post, I hadn't realised just how eventful the last week has been for me. I don't have an iPhone so haven't jumped onto the Instagram bandwagon yet, but here are a few of the photos I snapped that I thought I'd share with you.

Top (L-R): Ceiling lights at Nando's, Liverpool St.; New Nando's loyalty card (claimed my 1/4 chicken!); My beautiful friend Lilly

Middle (L-R): Nelly Trend clothes at the UK launch; Melon; Orchid.

Bottom (L-R): Cleared out five bags worth of clothes, shoes and accessories to donate to my local charity shop; Mermaid braid updo; beautiful painting of African mother and daughter.

What have you been up to?

As ever,

My Ensemble (OOTD): Peplum & Polka Dots

Spring/summer 2012 trends are in full swing and peplum is no exception. After seeing a similar dress in River Island a couple of weeks ago, I decided to buy this polka dot bandeau peplum dress on eBay while on the hunt for a good ol' bargain online. OK, so this one's shorter and not strapless, but I'm not too bothered; point is: I achieved the look I was going for.

DRESS: eBay | SHOES: Next | JACKET: New Look | BELT: H&M | BAG: Miss Selfridge

If there's something you've spotted and like in the high street shops, chances are that you'll be able to find the same thing (or something very similar) on eBay for much less- I certainly did, and paid less than half the recommended retail price. All it takes is a little patience.

Have you topped up your wardrobe with anything from eBay recently? What spring/summer trends have you been rocking lately?

As ever,
